While FCC is tightening rules to save the consumers being ripped off by the online scamsters in the garb of online marketing using celebrity names such as Opera, they are now resorting to new techniques and tricks. See the advertisements below with pony, news organization-like domain names. The kind of ads are all over the web. This screenshot is from MSN.Com.

Can Google NexusOne and TMobile survive with this process?

I tried to place an order for Google Nexus One after a week from launch, thinking that they would have ironed out the issues and streamlined the processes. I have the same issues that I faced on the launch day! Since I am a current cell phone account holder with TMobile - with no contract, I agreed for anew contract for another 2 years and wanted to continue to use the same phone number. However, the system increases the price of the phone to $279 (instead of $179 shown on the first page of the order process).

I can understand if the contract customers are charged extra. Why should existing TMobile customers pay more even though they are going for a new 2 year contract? The price for Customer Loyalty?
